Project Manager

The Project Manager is the client’s direct representative and must determine and implement the exact needs of the client. Key project management responsibilities include overseeing and facilitating all aspects of estimating, construction schedules, contracts, project construction, cost management and invoicing, project close-out thru warranty. The Project Manager has total control over each project and implements all resources to meet the projects requirements. SLBS uses computerized construction management and contract management software. Competent communication and computer skills are an essential part of being a SLBS Project Manager.

Project Superintendent

The Project Superintendent is the onsite representative who “Runs” the jobsite and is responsible for continuous field supervision, coordination, schedule and completion of the work. They organize and schedule all scopes of work provided by the sub-contractors and field labors. The superintendent documents all project activities and progression of work. They must be safety minded and enforce a safe productive work environment.

Estimator

The Estimator has skilled knowledge in the construction industry, is able to translate scope of work into man hours and material cost to create an accurate and competitive bid package to generate new business for the company.

Field Laborer

The Field Laborer has a variety of skills ranging from general clean-up and material handling to skilled labor assistance. Field laborer also provides transportation of material pick-ups and delivery needs for the project, must have a current driver’s license and transportation to and from the job site.

Carpenter

The Carpenter is to facilitate the Superintendent and Project Manager for completion of tasks within our scope directed from the design team.

Duties and responsibilities: 

  • Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients
  • Install structures and fixtures, such as windows and molding
  • Measure, cut, or shape wood, plastic, and other materials
  • Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and door frames
  • Help erect, level, and install building framework with the aid of rigging hardware and cranes
  • Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures
  • Instruct helpers who will assist the carpenter in completing task
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to plans and specifications
  • Posses the abilities to multitask
  • Be willing to think outside the box and have a problem solving/solution skills

  • Rough Carpentry
  • Finish Carpentry
  • Metal Stud Framing
  • Drywall/ Minor Tape and Texture
  • Painting

Field Laborer

The Field Laborer has a variety of skills ranging from general clean-up and material handling to skilled labor assistance. Field laborer also provide transportation of material pick-ups and delivery needs for the project and must have a current drivers and transportation to and from the job site.
